FAQ
Do I need a specific lease accounting audit app licence?
No. Exercises use anonymised screens and CSV-style extracts that resemble common app layouts. We do not provide vendor software or licences.
Is this suitable for absolute beginners in IFRS 16?
You should already know the basic recognition model. The course assumes you have prepared or reviewed at least one lease schedule.
What is a real limitation of this course?
We do not cover every industry-specific arrangement (for example, specialised extractive or embedded derivative hybrids). Those still need firm technical guidance beyond this pathway.
How is feedback delivered?
Audit Desk Pathway seats include two mentor-marked working papers. Self-paced Field Review learners receive checklist rubrics instead.
Learner notes
“Module four’s modification trail is the piece I forward to new seniors. It names what the lease accounting audit app will not write for you.”Owen R., senior associate · Edinburgh
“Strong on documentation. I would have liked one more worked example on sale-and-leaseback — still, the residual-doubt framing helped our last review.”Client in logistics finance
